Does the thought of using SPSS fill you with fear and anxiety? Do you have data that you are keen to explore, but don’t know where to start? Are you stuck on which statistical test to use? Perhaps you don’t know how to test a particular hypothesis? If so, you are not alone. Many students and professionals struggle to get to grips with this statistical package, hence why they come to me for SPSS help.
What is SPSS?
SPSS, formerly known as the Statistical Package for Social Sciences, is one of the most widely used statistical packages available within the social sciences, and is used by students, academics, and businesses from a variety of disciplines. It facilitates the storage and analysis of large amounts of research and audit data, which can then be rigorously tested.
What SPSS services do I offer?
If you provide me with your SPSS data file, I can run the following statistical processes for you:
- Descriptive Statistics.
- Predictive Statistics (i.e. Multiple Regressions).
- Tests of Difference (i.e. T-Tests).
- Tests of Association (i.e. Pearson Correlation).
- Reliability testing for questionnaires and surveys, such as Cronbach’s alpha.
- Graphs, Charts and Tables.
I can also conduct a number of other statistical tests, so if you would like a particular test conducted just ask.
What if you don’t know what you want from the data?
If you tell me your aims, objectives, or hypothesis, and the data you have available, I will be able to propose a course of action for you.
SPSS Support Packages:
The basic package comprises a consultation, whereby I will offer you SPSS support and guidance on how best to analyse the data you have to meet your specific aims and objectives.
For a more in-depth service, the standard package includes an analysis of your data.
The premium service is an all-in-one comprehensive package that includes everything offered in the basic and standard service, but also includes the interpretation and writing up of your findings.
